About Me

Debbie Murad

With over 25 years experience as a Clinical Social Worker, and as a graduate of the University of Southern California Graduate School of Social Work, I am currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are relationship issues,  stress management, trauma, domestic violence and addiction.

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, I have presented at national and regional conferences to general audiences speaking on the topics of Domestic Violence, Trauma and Clinical Supervision. I was full-time faculty at the USC School of Social Work for 11 years. I am also a Clinical Consultant and  with L.A. Centers for Drug and Alcohol Abuse.

I am also a social entrepreneur developing programs in my areas of expertise, upon which I have based my Visionary Coaching Program. I am also an experienced in meditation, health and wellness.

I am an interactive, attachment based therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical guidance to help people effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each person. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Since 1993, I have provided supportive psychotherapy in a variety of settings. My experience also includes clinical, program development, training and supervisory/administrative roles.
